We believe the weekends should be reigned in with mimosas and a little brunch! Unfortunately the weather called for us to leave our dresses tucked away in our closets, the Chicago chill has officially arrived.

Our Saturday was nothing short of idilic. Following our late morning brunch (yes, sleeping in on a Saturday is a must), we headed out for a little shopping! Our first stop- the GiltCity Chicago Warehouse Sale. If you've ever been to a warehouse sale, you know that fitting rooms are both unconventional and crowded, and we personally try to avoid them if we can. When shopping in such circumstances, we dress accordingly, mainly observing three rules: skinnies, easy tops, and no boots. Having a tank under a button up is an easy solution to trying on tops in front of a mirror, and flats are effortless to put on and take off- cutting your time in the fitting room so you can get on your way!
